Connecting Breath through Movement

This workshop is all about breathing and movement! We will spend time getting our heart rates up during an active Pilates class led by Shanai. Covering the 5 basic principles needed to maintain the integrity of movement in every exercise.

Then settle our breath down to become more attentive of how the body breathes naturally and Kelly Crofts-Johnson will guide us through a Tai Chi sequence. Energizing the Yin and Yang within the body.

Shanai will then wrap it all up with a "noting" meditation exercise, prompting you to tap into your senses and note how you felt in your body during the different exercises and breath patterns.
